A Legacy of Legal Excellence
Clyde R. Parks graduated from Texas Tech University and earned his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s School of Law. After completing law school, he began a postgraduate Master of Law program. He later worked as one of ten estate-planning professionals with Aetna in Hartford. Mr. Parks also owned and operated both a securities company and a gas and oil business.
He began his legal career in September 1973 after receiving his license from the Supreme Court of Texas. In the late 1970s, he established one of the first legal clinics in Texas, expanding to multiple cities and providing affordable legal services to the community and elderly individuals. Over the years, his practice has included personal injury law, gas and oil law, tax law, and bankruptcy law.
In 2009, Mr. Parks became the sole caregiver for his wife until her passing in February 2016. Later that year, he founded The Parks Law Firm, P.C., and relocated the practice from Grapevine, Texas, to Hurst, Texas.
Mr. Parks is admitted to practice before the State Bar of Texas, the United States Tax Court, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
