Car Accidents: Woman Dead in Houston

A three-car pileup claimed the life of a 21-year-old woman on the morning of Nov. 2 in West Houston, according to local law enforcement. Texas police based in Harris County have confirmed the woman’s death, and they have also confirmed that the other driver involved in the crash is facing charges. Car accidents causing fatalities can carry serious criminal penalties, and the man could be facing jail time.
According to the limited information in the report, it appears the woman was driving on Westheimer Road with an unidentified passenger around 9:15 a.m. the morning of Nov. 2 when the accident happened. It appears the 29-year-old male driver ran a red light and struck her car. The force of the impact killed the woman immediately, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
