Who Is Clyde Parks?

Clyde R. Parks graduated from Texas Tech University and earned his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s School of Law. After law school, he began a postgraduate Master of Law program and later worked as one of ten estate-planning professionals with Aetna in Hartford. He also owned and operated a securities company and a gas and oil business.

Mr. Parks began his legal career in 1973 after receiving his license from the Supreme Court of Texas. In the late 1970s, he established some of the first legal clinics in Texas, providing affordable legal services in several cities and expanding access to the elderly and underserved communities.

In 2009, Mr. Parks stepped away from full-time practice to care for his wife until her passing in 2016. Later that year, he founded The Parks Law Firm, P.C., and moved the practice from Grapevine to Hurst, Texas.
